ALL CLIENTS are required to make a 30% deposit at the time of booking. Unfortunately this is due to the amount of "No shows" that were providing a card at the time of booking with insufficient funds. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Clients that A) do not show up to their scheduled appointment, B) cancel/request to reschedule less than 24 hours prior to their appointment, or C) arrive too late past their appointment start time for their service to be properly performed (10mins), will forfeit their 30% down for the "No Show"/cancellation fee. After 2 "no shows" you will not be booked again.
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment - please do so online before the 24hr window. Your deposit will transfer to your new appointment. If for whatever reason you need to reschedule your appointment under the 24hr window (same day) know that your deposit will not transfer and you will have to pay a new deposit for a new appointment.
If you will be running late for your appointment, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I may have to reschedule your appointment due to the fact that clients are often booked back to back.
Be sure to have at least 2 weeks of hair growth before your service (about the length of a grain of rice.) If your hair is not long enough for the service to be performed, you will be charged 50% of the cost of service.
The door to the studio may be locked if you arrive early for your appointment. Appointments are booked back to back and sometimes run right up to the next appointment time. Unless I have contacted you, it is best to arrive no earlier than 5 mins before your appointment. Please understand for example - If your appointment is at 3:30 and you arrive at 3:10 - I will not take you early - I may have an appointment at 3:15, & you will be asked to come back at your scheduled time.
Covid - 19 Policies and procedures:
No one is allowed to come with you to your service.
Please ask yourself these questions before every appointment:
Have you had a cough?
Have you had a fever?
Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
As licensed professionals we practice the highest level of sanitation, sterilization, and infection control.
Hand sanitizer as always is provided in each treatment room, check out desk, and near the entrance.
I am required by law to wear a mask at all times during your appointment for your safety and mine. Masks for clients are encouraged, but not mandatory at this time. If you have questions on safety practices please ask at any time!
Appointment Confirmations & Reminders:
You will receive an email and/or text confirmation at the time of booking, a confirmation request 72 hours before your appointment and an email and/or text reminder 24 hours before your appointment.
Child Safety Policy:
We know your children are great little people. For the safety and comfort of your children, yourself, and our guests, we appreciate your support and understanding of our policies regarding having your children in the studio.
**Children 15 yrs old and younger are allowed in the Studio when receiving a service with guardian supervision.
**Due to Insurance legalities, we cannot have children on the premises unless they are scheduled for a service. Therefore, if your child is not receiving services, we respectfully ask that you make all necessary child care arrangements prior to your visit.
**Hello, Sugar does not, under any circumstance, assume responsibility for the well-being of your child during your visit. The guardian assumes all liability for any damages to the studio during your visit.
